The 11,358 square foot one story facility will replace the existing fire station across the street. The new facility will be twice the size of the current station and provide the volunteers with a functional, low maintenance, and energy efficient facility.
The facility will include a turnout gear room and SCBA room meeting all current regulations. There will be five apparatus bays with storage and maintenance area, a dayroom, offices, and a training room that will be open to the public for small gatherings as well as being used as a polling station for elections.
The building has been designed to accommodate future growth in terms of additional apparatus bays and bunk area.
