The new one story facility replaced the existing fire station across the street. The new facility is twice the size of the current station and provides the volunteers with a functional, low maintenance, and energy efficient facility.
The facility includes a turnout gear room and SCBA room meeting all current regulations. There are six apparatus bays with storage and maintenance areas, a dayroom, offices, and a training room that will be open to the public for small gatherings and as a polling station for elections.
The building has been designed to accommodate future growth in terms of additional apparatus bays and bunk area.
