After an extensive search for property for a new fire station, Hampstead Volunteer Fire Department determined the location of the existing station was the best available location to serve the community.
The project was a three-phase project. Phase 1 was the construction of a temporary five-bay station at the rear of their property to allow for the demolition of the existing station.
Phase 2 was the just dedicated new station, constructed on the site of the former station, consisting of 5 double-deep drive thru bays and state-of-the-art support areas.
Phase 3 was the conversion of the Phase 1 temporary station into an event center for the fire company as well as the community.
