Rowland Hall and Shearer Hall are adjoining buildings with nearly 47,000 square feet of floor space. Modifications were required to meet current academic standards and to comply with current building codes and ADA requirements.
Modifications to the 60-year-old structures included a total replacement of interior building finishes. Electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and heating and air conditioning systems were replaced.
Structural repairs included replacement of exterior doors and windows. Interior walls were reconfigured to meet programmatic requirements.
